Order name badges

Our badge supplier will be closed from 21 December 2024 and resume work on the 13th January 2025. The last day to get orders in to guarantee delivery before they go on leave will be Friday 13th December 2024.

Staff name badges

Plastic purple badge with white logo and text as per sample below. The size is 75mm wide x 25mm deep. They have a quality domed finish and magnet (or brooch) fitting. 

Note - Medical School staff badges are 30mm deep with a larger font size to improve readability for patients and staff in health care settings.

• Badges have first and surnames.
• Pronouns are permitted.
• Personal titles and position titles are not permitted.
• Entity names are not permitted.

Student name badges

Plastic white badge with purple logo and text as per sample below. The size is 75mm wide x 25mm deep. They have a quality domed finish and magnet (or brooch) fitting. 

Note - Medical School student badges are 30mm deep with a larger font size to improve readability for patients and staff in health care settings.

Student badges are normally ordered by staff within the School/Faculty. If students wish to place an order they must provide approval from their School/Faculty.

• Badges have first names only.
• Pronouns are permitted.
• Entity names are not permitted. 

Cost (ex GST)

The price is adjusted on an economies of scale basis:

• 1 badge           $13.39
• 10 badges       $12.76 each
• 15 badges       $11.70 each
• 30 badges       $10.32 each
• 60 badges       $9.15 each
• 100 badges     $9.15 each
• 150 badges     $8.51 each

Delivery options

• Standard post - $10 (Allow 7-10 business days from order)
• Australia Post Express - $15 (Allow 4-6 business days from order)
• If you require them by a specific day and do not want to rely on Australia Post and the UQ Mail Room you can pick up direct from AJ Parkes (1/31 Argyle Parade, Darra) yourself or via a Courier (Allow 3-4 business days from order).

Additional surcharge for urgent jobs (orders must be entered by 11am and is dependent on supplier’s current workload):

• Next day despatch $40
• Same day service $50

How to Order

To order name badges (or make an enquiry) please email stationery@uq.edu.au and provide:

• list of names 
• preferred delivery option (see above)
• date delivery required by (if applicable) 
• postal name and address
• Note - badges will be ordered with magnetic clasps by default - please advise if a brooch clasp is required.

A RISQ form is not required for ordering name badges. The supplier invoice will be emailed to you once the order has despatched which must be paid by credit card using the embedded online payment link.
