Flag protocol at UQ

The Australian National, Queensland State, Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, University and Progress Pride flags are flown at UQ St Lucia, UQ Herston and UQ Gatton throughout the year.

The University flag is also flown at Customs House and Long Pocket. Customs House also flies the Australian National Flag on Australia Day and ANZAC Day and the Australian Red Ensign on Merchant Navy Day.

The flags are flown at half-mast on special University occasions and as directed by the Commonwealth Flag Officer. Details of these occasions can be found on the Commonwealth Flag Network website.
